Description:

Let's make some beaded spideys!
Make one beaded spider for your partner. Please use 22 gauge wire and quality beads. NO plastic pony beads or home made beads like polymer clay or paper or felt.
Please look at your partner's profile and do not make them a color that they have on their dislike list.
Make this spider sturdy by using E6000 glue if the legs are twirling around the main body.
You may make the spider into a necklace pendant or a pin, but that is not necessary. Please view the tutorial at Instructibles.com for a great instructional. Just type in Beaded Spider Tutorial. This swap is a quick turnaround and you may not get your spider by Halloween. Therefore you might just want to make two, one for your partner and one for yourself! You will probably have lots of extra beads anyway.
Please do your best work and package your spidey carefully in a bubble envie or small box to send to your partner. You want it to get there in one piece!

We use to make these at the bead store where I worked alllll the time!

I edited this swap to say no pony beads. Acrylic beads are ok--these are the kind that look like glass or stone. Plastic pony beads are the beads that are used in children's crafting.

Thanks for hosting this swap Laura. I just finished my spider. These are so fun and I can tell will be addicting to make.
