*Please Note: I've changed requirements. Even if you've done this swap before, please read the swap info all the way through.

Time for a quick notecard swap. You're going to have 2 partners.

1) Go to your notecardstash. Pull out 4 notecards, with envelopes. These need to be blank and unwritten on.

2) Grab 2 larger envelopes.

3) Grab 2 slips of paper, write the swap name “Quick Notecard Swap #6 – International” and your Swap Bot ID on each slip. The International is important, I run a USA swap too.

4) Put 2 notecards in each envelope, along with their envelopes, and one of the slips of paper. Seal the envelope, and wait.

5) Wait until partners are assigned. Then, address your envelope, slamp postage on it, and send it off!

If this swap looks familiar, it's because it's done in a similar fashion to the anonymous tea trades @toupti does. I thought it would be fun to do a similar thing, but with items other than tea.

Swap deadline and send off dates are close together because these envelopes should be ready to go well in advance.

Rules: Your notecards need to be two different cards per envelope. If you have multiples, you can make your envelopes the same, because really, who's going to know you sent the same thing twice?

Notecards should be in good shape. Dirty, badly damaged, mangled cards don't belong here. Handmade, Zazzle, Vistaprint, and other "you make it, we'll print for you" types are allowed, but they need to be of good quality. If you wouldn't be happy recieving them, don't send them out. Notecards must be printed on firm paper, like cardstock, not office paper, and must be folded. They can fold in half, thirds or quarters, but they need to fold.

Notecards must have envelopes that are of an appropriate size. I know envelopes go missing, so if you need to substitute a replacement envelope for the notecard, that's fine, just make sure the notecard fits into the envelope, and isn't way big. More than 2-3 cm bigger than the notecard on one or both sides is too bug.

The front of the notecard can be of anything: a photo, quote, drawing, or even an initial, but they must not be event specific, and they must be blank inside. That means no sympathy cards, thank you cards, party invitations, graduation cards that hold money, etc. The notecards must be usable for any occasion, whether that's writing a note of sympathy, a thank you, or just a "Hello!" sort of note. If you wish to include one of these occaision specific cards as an extra, you're welcome to it, but they don't count as one of the notecards you send.

Notecards must be of legal mailable size. No minis, again you can include them as an extra if you want, but the notecards you send must be able to be put in their envelopes, addressed, stamped, and mailed legally within your country. Within the US, the minimum legal mailing size is roughly 9cm by 13cm

I'm not setting a rating requirement. I instead require that all pariticpants have a well filled out profile. I don't expect a novel, or for you to fill in everything (your favorite movie tells me nothing). But, I do expect information about you, and some likes and dislikes. One paragraph is not enough.

Here's how to get removed from my swap:

Have a 1 rating owed to an active swapper (swapper has logged in since July 25)

Multiple 1 ratings within in the last year, active swappers or not

Multiple 3 ratings within the last 6 months

Known as a difficult swapper/late sender/liar/non rater

If you're currently in the process of resolving a bad rating, please contact me and let me know what's going on. I don't expect you to bare your soul, but I do want to be aware of what you're doing to fix it. I know sometimes bad ratings come out of the blue, and your swap partner wants to leave it there until it's resolved. Been there myself. I'm not unreasonable.

I reserve the right to remove anyone from the swap, for any reason, listed here or not.
