Description:

You will send two 7" basic traditional granny squares to each of your assigned partners. Everyone will have 2 partners so you will be mailing out a total of 4 grannies, 2 to each partner.

IMPORTANT!!! Each granny must be made using the basic traditional granny square pattern. Also, you MUST use a 4-ply worsted weight acrylic yarn. DO NOT use cotton or wool for these squares and DO NOT use anything lighter than 4-ply. You must use a different color yarn for each round so that each granny will have a rainbow of colors, thus the swap name. The number of rounds depends on the size hook you use and how tight/loose you crochet. Please measure your squares accurately and make sure that they are as close to 7 inches as possible! ALSO Make sure all ends are woven in and clipped!! AND both squares should be different from each other.

Any questions, please send me a message. Rating requirement for 4.8 and up. With no recent 1's or 3's. Newbies welcome with a WELL filled out and detailed profile. (Yes, I do check.)

Also ~ I live in "Boonyville" and sometimes our internet connection isn't very good. This is especially true when it rains & in the winter months. So please be patient, partners will get assigned and if needed I will extend the send date.

I would like to have a "challenge" square once in awhile. September 2013 we did a "Fall" themed square.

I have filled in my profile as last night when I signed up I was to sleepy to do it but now it is totally complete. I have been doing Yahoo swaps for a long time and I absolutely love swapping things with people and cannot wait to get to know new people. I do not get out much do to my disease and being on chemo and this kind of thing is my way of meeting new people. Just yesterday I got something from England I just love getting things like that. I have gotten things from Germany and Australia as well. I love to send out and hear the person's reaction to what I send them as well. I look forward to being a part of this swap. Thanks and God Bless!

4 grannies in two weeks is just too much for me! sad! What can I say, I'm a very slow hooker. I'm so envious of those of you who can just whip them out!

Maybe I'll start crocheting now, and sign up for the next one, or the one after. lol
