Scrap Christmas Ornament Swap This swap is for a handmade scrap ornament. I came across a box of them I made 10 years ago and they need new homes. Scrap ornaments where popular in the Victorian era. To make one you just use scraps of lace, die-cuts, cards or and what ever you have laying around. The photo shows ornaments I made. If you search the words “Victorian Scrap Ornament†you will find lots of examples of what they can look like. Mine are pretty simple. In this swap you will have to make an ornament for your partner. It does not have to be Victorian themed, but has to be made from scraps and bits crafted together. I understand not everyone has antique scrap laying around, if you read to the end of the swap you could have some. This swap is for 1 scrap ornament and if you want to include a note about how you made it that would be nice. Remember to include the swap name and your swap-bot name. Since I'm a newbie here newbies are welcome If you are rated less than 4.98 you cannot join. I reserve the right to ban questionable swappers. I know people may not want to join this swap since I have not finished hosting any swaps yet, I understand. For every one who joins this swap and completes it. I’ll send you each a few antique or old vintage German die cut scraps. I’m an old cynic I will make sure you didn't sign up just to get something free. Your swap partner has to get their ornament before you get your scrap. And if anyone gets flaked on I’ll make sure you get an ornament. The only way right now I have of taking photos is with my phone which isn’t too smart so please excuse the quality of my photos |
