Hello Mavens!

@stevado sent me a lovely note requesting that I create another "sleeve" mail art! So . . .

For this swap you'll have 1 partner and you'll create 1 piece of mail art for your partner.

The theme of the mail art is Christmas! The TWIST is that your mail art envelope must be sent in a plastic sleeve and it must have some type of moving pieces between the envelope and the plastic sleeve. Sort of like a snow globe! When you shake the envelope your "pieces" should move around. You can use little die-cuts, punches, confetti or anything else you'd like--so long as it moves around between the envelope and the sleeve.

  • Envelope must measure at least 5" x 6" but can be larger

  • Theme of the mail art is Christmas!

  • Envelope must be sent in a clear sleeve

  • There must be moving "pieces" between the envelope and the plastic sleeve.

  • Please include an inexpensive, flat surprise (Christmas-themed) for your partner.

I've done several mail arts this way and the best sleeves to use are the ones that stickers come in. They're so clear and strong.

Have fun!!

(The photo above pictures the new Gingerbread House stamps from the USPS--they will be released today!)
