Description:

I adore receiving postcards to which the sender has attached a bunch of interesting postage stamps; I figured that there were probably a few like-minded people here on Swap Bot.

For this swap, you'll choose a postcard with consideration towards the receivers preferences (check their profile after partners are assigned) and you'll send your cards naked (without an envelope). Please attach at least six postage stamps to your postcard, but try to use as many as possible to make up the sending rate.

Newbies are welcome at my discretion and with well-filled out profiles only.

I will be checking participants profiles and ratings thoroughly before assigning partners; please note that if you are currently showing as late on any swaps I will request that you follow through on those before participating in this swap. Similarly, if you have a 1 rating and have not made an effort to follow through on the swap owing to your partner (especially if they are still an active member of the site), I will likely ask that you do this before participating in any of my swaps.

Please note that I do angel all of my swaps, although I will make every possible effort to ensure that my swaps remain flaker-free. Finally, late sends or flaking on any of my swaps will affect your ability to participate in my swaps in future.

Haha The sheer number of stamps on the card would leave little space to write on. The people at the post office are going to hate me for making em add each of their values up >:)

@Christmas I have a lovely pen pal in Russia who always writes sweet notes to postal employees on the outside of her letters; I'm not sure if it helps her mail moves faster/ with less resentment (she also uses lots of fantastic postage stamps with her mailings), but it makes me wonder whether we should adopt a similar idea for this swap. :)

@arianneroxa I'm afraid it's a bit late for that now, card's already been posted. Aand yes, the employee was miffed, but thankfully, the irritation turned to amusement :D Who knew multiple stamps on cards would be such a great conversation starter!
