Description:

This is the first in a series of swaps - 12 months of History Swaps. You can join one, or more the choice is up to you.

You will be making either a post card or an Artist Trading Card for one of the holidays celebrated in January OR for something the month is known for........ example National Book Month.

For the postcard you want to use a sturdy backing for your card - how you make it is up to you - draw, use a photo, etc. the postcard must be sturdy though, since the person your sending it to might use it. You will mail it in an envelope to your partner. I have used cereal box cardboard to make my cards sturdy.

For the postcard somewhere on the picture size and/or the back side you must include the subject...example National Soup Month.

If you decide on the Artist Trading Card you will want to use the proper measurements and make this card sturdy as well. You will also need to put on the backside of the card - your name/your swap-bot name, the name of the card...example New Year's Day and the date you made it and any other info you would like to include.

ATC size must be 2.5x3.5 inches or 64x89 mm

***PLEASE DO NOT JUST PUT A STICKER ON IT...Please put thought into it, a sticker can be incorporated into it, is fine****

CHOOSE FROM THESE......

If your area is known for something in the month of January you may use that, this is only a guideline. If you are using something from your area however, please send your partner information about that day or event that happens this particular month in your area. Thanks!
