Description:

For this swap we will use an average sized ziplock (or any cloth/handmade bag in the same size). You can use bigger if you would like, but keep in mind that you will probably get the average size in return.

We will be filling this bag with any Easter/Spring related items! This should be easy to do because I am leaving this wide open to interpretation. The main goal is to find Easter items, but since not everyone celebrates Easter, we can use Spring items instead OR a mixture of both!

Check your partners profile to find out if the Easter items are okay or if Spring items are okay. Also, you do not want to send, say, Easter themed scrapbook paper if they do not scrapbook at all. Try and find items that your partner can use.

No more than 2 paper items, please! Minimum of 5 DIFFERENT items in the baggie! You can send multiple ATC's or multiple sheets of scrapbook paper if you want, but then you still have to send at least 4 other DIFFERENT items!

Examples of items to send could be:

  • Easter or Spring napkins

  • Pastel colored beads

  • Silk flowers in Spring colors

  • Easter candies

  • Easter/Spring scrapbook papers and/or embellishments

  • Easter/Spring stickers

  • Easter/Spring jewelry

  • Small Easter/Spring toys

  • Use your imagination and have fun!

Swappers with good ratings only! I am sorry, but I cannot angel this one since I am already obligated to several other swaps that I have to angel for! (I think the holiday season was hard on many this year). However, I do not feel I will need to because we are all responsible swappers, right?! :)

Spring/Easter note cards, stationery or memo sheets is another idea too. ;-)

Would it be okay if I host a USA only swap?

AmyHale 02/ 3/2014 #

So sorry it took me so long to respond! I was doing mid terms last week! Yes...please be my guest and host a swap!

Magena22 02/ 5/2014 #

Thanks!!

At the risk of sounding stupid, what is the average baggie size? Sandwich?

AmyHale 03/ 3/2014 #

so sorry I haven't responded Lenna - good question. I will make sure and specify next time. An average size ziplock is typically referring to a quart size. However, many people typically use sandwich size for lots of things. Sandwich is smaller than quart, but because I did not specify...either size is fine. If you use a sandwich size, just make sure to stuff it with lots of goodies!
