Description:

I did a Kitchen Godess Swap before and I loved it! So here is a swap for all those kitchen Godesses out there!

1/ Each person will have one swap buddy

2/ This is US only due to postage

3/ Your package will include ALL of the following:

  A/ Kitchen Towel
  B/ Kitchen Tool
  C/ Handmade notebook for receipes
** this can be a store bought book but altered with paper and ribbons etc
D/ A new sealed jar of a spice
** can be anything but must be new
  E/ Apron

I would suggest that all of the above coordinate with each other, either by color or style.

Once partners are choosen YOU will then email your partner a spice that you would like(not a guarantee) and a color you would prefer (again not a guarantee). Your partner will then do there best to go with your request. Please do not request a spice that is overly expensive.

You should expect to spend approx $15-$20 total.

You must have at least a 4.8, have no no-sends, and have at least 10 swaps completed already. I will check everyone's profile. I will not be able to angel this so only signup if you are serious.

Please email me with questions!

Happy Swapping!!!

This was one of my all time favorite swaps! Glad to see you are doing it again!

kgeslab 06/ 5/2008 #

My color is sage green and my "theme" is garden/bird house. I'd love a whole nutmeg and grater, but that's just an idea. Can't wait!

Can the apron/ dish towel or cloth be hand made, or do you want all store bought items (except for the recipe book)? Also, do you want recipes in the recipe book or just a blank one?

They can be handmade or store bought.

This swap sounds awsome. the kitchen is my favorite place in my house. my colors are aqua/red...and i've always wanted one of those micro planes to zest stuff. I also LOVE mulling spice. hope this helps.

How do you make the notebook? Does anyone have some examples? Thanks

This sounds like lots of fun! My kitchen is decorated in red and green apples with cabinet doors painted in a distressed teal green. I would be happy with any kind of spice.

I have Red in my kitchen with a rooster/chicken theme!

I like all spices, but I would love to have my partner send me their favorite spice!

Any kitchen tool would be nice I love to cook and bake!

The curtains in my kitchen are slightly retro - thay're handmade (by me) and have lemons on them. The walls are a pale yellow and the cabinets are oak. So anything in the yellow/green category will work for me. I love to cook and bake so surprise me with the spice and tool!

Thanks! Patty

My kitchen doesn't have a theme per se. My house is tiny, and I've got kind of a shabby chic thing going on. I also love the aqua/brown combination.

I love spices like cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and ginger. I love to bake cookies, brownies, etc...

This swap sounds like fun. Can't wait to find out who my partner is. :)

LOVE THIS SWAP IDEA!

My kitchen colors are gold, grape and green. So anything with grapes on it would be appreciated. I don't have a gold neither a grape colored apron which would be a dream come true. I wear a size 12 so hope that helps as far as size goes.

My favorite spice would be "dill". It would be also cool if you could somehow package a starter spice plant, or even a package of seeds that would grow into a spice. I'm trying my hand at starting my own homegrown spices!

Any kitchen "tool" that you get, if possible I prefer black handles please as every kitchen appliance and cooking utensil I have is black.

Can't wait, I LIVE in my kitchen and it would be great to get some new stuff! Cheers!

This is a great swap-any plans for something to include Canadians? Or an international one?

this is going to be lots of fun!! my kitchen doesnt have a theme either. white cabinets w/black hardware. black appliances+ the walls are grayish/greenish tint, really mute color. more simple/modernish. not picky on kitchen spice or tool though love to bake or grill out. apron- no roosters, cows, apples etc.. can be flowery. i do have a great sense of humor too........ {have a vw van cookie jar and surf board cutting boards used as decorations}

I live in an apartment that is in a very old house, so not a lot of decorating here! My kitchen is sort of an off white (which has a weird purple hue) with a deep sage-blue green painted trim. The cupboards were handmade and look like they belong in a camp! Someday when I get my own house though.... I'd like to have some accent pieces by Ursula Dodge. YOu can see her stuff here:

Otherwise the sky is the limit! As for a spice, we are those "hunter-gatherer" types, and I would love a good meat rub! I also bake quite a bit... You can even send me an exotic tea instead of a spice. I love tea! Especially Ginger tea.

I like things that are old (and possibly used), I feel like they have a story. So even if the apron is used that is fine! I would love one with cats... not a huge rooster or chicken fan. Even if you make the apron, that's cool by me.
