Short Story: Owl Inspired

You will send your two partners an original short story, written by you just for this swap. The short story should be between 500 and 1000 words, typed or nicely handwritten. (If you write by hand, please keep a copy of the story in the event of lost mail.)

The catch? There's a theme!

This story will have an OWL theme. You can approach this literally or symbolically. Please choose one of the following:

1) Your main character has an encounter with an owl, either in passing or as the main event, that somehow changes the course of the story.

2) Your main character is an owl.

3) Your story may or may not have an actual owl present, but you use the symbolism that is woven into the owl totem: intuition, revealed truth, ancient wisdom.

(Make a note at the end of the story which option you chose.)

Everything else about the story is sender's choice (including G to R rating, genre, etc.). This is a sharing of creativity and personal writing vision. Let's be respectful of our differences and have fun. :)

To participate: 4.98 minimum rating. No recent / unresolved 1s or 3s. At least 10 type 2 & 3 swaps. I will remove anyone I feel can hinder the happy smoothness of this swap.
