First Line of a Book PC

Sometimes when I'm book shopping, I take a peek at the first line of a book to see if it draws me in. I'm sure that I can't be the only one!

For this swap, you will write the first complete sentence from the book you are currently reading on the back of a postcard and send it naked to your partner. Be sure to include the title of the book and the author, as well. Also, remember to include your username and the swap name. Postcards are sender's choice.

Books from which you use the first line may be fiction or nonfiction, but they must be a traditional book. So no craft books or cookbooks please. Also, the book must be in English.

Requirements: At least 5 completed and rated Type 2/3 swaps. Ratings of 4.98 or higher with no 1s or 3s in the last three months. No late swaps on your dashboard as of the day I assign partners. I will ban users after the swap closes so that everyone has a chance to earn more ratings or fix old ones.
