Description:

For this swap choose the theme you want .

You must remember that the ATC size is 2.5x3.5 (6.4 x 8.9 cm)

The medium you use is up to you.

One ATC to one partner.

There are several new swappers who are making ATCs for the first time so I thought I would give a little thought on making them. This is only my thoughts. There are other threads that discuss making ATCs. When you first sign on to SB there is a picture in the middle of the page. People post their creation on there. Click on the ATCs for some inspiration. Alot of profiles have Flicker attachments that will take you to pictures of the ATCs they have made.

Pick a theme: favorite animal, flower, color, ext. Adjectives can be a theme and don't forget about an abstract ATC. Abstract is the accrual theme.

Choose a background. Your background can be store bought scrap booking paper or something you already have in your home. Look at old greeting cards and note cards. If you can glue it onto a sturdy surface like a cereal box. Some people use just card stock and there isn't any rules saying you can't but most people like them a little sturdier.

Choose a focal point. Example my favorite theme is a cat. I would put a cat picture or collage cat pictures on my ATC.

The final touch are the embellishments. These can be store bought or a simple design drawn with Sharpies.

The only true rule of ATC is the size. This is your creation so enjoy it and have some fun.
