This swap is for all of the writers who participated in National Novel Writing Month OR who have any project done in draft that needs to be revised.

Swap posted on Feb. 18. You have two weeks to join and a month after that to make progress on your revision and report back to your partner.

This swap is designed to get you rolling on your revision in four steps.

The 1st step is to make a commitment to do so. The folks at NaNo have a contract you can pledge to. For this swap, go to the "Now What? Months" at the NaNo site. Read the pledge in Step 1.

The 2nd Step is to watch one of the webinars OR participate in one of the Twitter chats. The next Twitter chat is Tuesday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. (PST). And the next live webinar is Tuesday, February 25 at 5:00 p.m. (PST).

The 3rd Step is to read two of the blog posts listed.

And your 4th Step is to tell your partner:

a) what you were working on and what you've accomplished by way of revision over the course of the swap.

b) what you got out of the webinar or chat

c) what you learned in the two blog post readings.

Revision is hard work. This swap may seem like hard work, but it's about getting you to work on that piece that's sitting around waiting for you to revise it.
