Amigurumi Challenge {International}

OK, we've all had a taste of Amigurumi now with various basics. It's time to dig a little deeper.

It's time to make your own!

Don't be scared. I know the idea of making your own amigurumi is a total freak fest, but I'm going to give you some help so you don't feel like you're totally twisting in the wind with no direction.

Using these instructions from crochetme, make an amigurumi character of your very own. If you're really brave you can wing it on your own without using this pattern, but I said I would help you so if you're stuck use that pattern from crochetme.

You will have one partner and a crapload of time to get your hook on. Don't worry about your partner's profile (though if you could use something from there that would be really cool, wouldn't it?)

One partner, one SPECIAL amigurumi.

Make your own "pattern" using the crochetme pattern if you need to. If you get stuck, please give me a shout and I'll try to help you out. I have tomes of patterns so I may be able to point you in the right direction.

It should be crochet. Knit is good, too. I'm pretty flexible on everything soft, to tell the truth.

There's tons of time for this so do the best you can. Give me a buzz if you're stuck and I'll help as best as I can.

This is for experienced swappers. I will be checking and communicating with anyone I think is borderline. If you've never made an amigurumi or anything like this I would say this is not the swap for you to cut your teeth on. Move along. We'll meet again, I'm sure.

If you're having a hard time with the swap, you must communicate to your swap partner. Communicating with me will help keep your rep clean, too. If you don't send and you don't communicate, that's flaking.

I won't tell you how or when to award hearts or how to rate, but you should keep in mind that this swap is to BROADEN horizons. Don't be a mean little shit, OK? Nobody likes that and I don't want it in my swaps, K? M'kay.
