Description:

Thanks to @wolfeagle for hosting the mail art junk journal swap, it inspired me to start my own mail art junk journal. Then I thought what would be better than doing it through swaps and doing it together?

The idea is that everyone who joins these swaps will be using the mail art they receive from their partner to put in the junk journal, and over time, filling it up, and in the end everyone will have their own mail art junk journal. :)

What to do? - Find an old, empty journal, moleskine, notebook/pad, or make your own.

  • When you receive the mail art swap, stick or paste it in the book.

  • Each swap in this series will be a different theme so your junk journal can be filled up of all different kinds of mail art.

Theme 2 is: NATURE. Ideas: seasons, animals, plants, fawn/fauna, quotes about nature.

You must handcraft an envelope or decorate a pre-made envelope with paintings, drawings, stickers, embellishments, washi tape, scribbles, doodles, ink, glitter, whatever you can find and have. However it must fit the theme in some way and have NATURE on it. If you are using a pre-made envelope please make sure it is at covered. No big blank white spaces etc.

You will have two partners. Ideas for upcoming themes and ones you want to see for your junk journal comment below- please!!!. Happy swapping!

-swap recap: ~ send 2 mail arts, 1 to each partner of the theme NATURE.
