I understand the background must be black and white, but can the art be in colors? Or should it be just like a "silhouette" sort of painting/drawing?

Silhouette! Black drawing!. If using a map as your background that has wording on it that may be colorful but anything else black and white or old paper and should be a page from a book, a dictionary, a newspaper, a menu, etc. making sure it is finished with a sturdy backing like card stock, cardboard. Be creative but black drawing.

So...this swap is that old joke -- "what's black and white and read all over?" Yeah, I stayed up all night thinking that one up...hahaha! (I crack myself up sometimes!)

Heh heh! Mine is not a silhouette but IS all black, and is a drawing. I think it worked out quite well!

ladydy5 03/26/2014 #

Yup! Hollycm6, will do! As long as it is on worded background as described, using a map is the exception since most have color and using black as your subject!

Please remember to rate because you got your swap and it meets the instructions of the swap. Of course, remember to make it sturdy enough to mail. Please do not hurt anyones feelings by sending messages to them saying you did not like it because.........whatever or will rate them lower. No drama on this group please.
