MMA: Artist Tile Challenge

I am just beginning to work with the new artist tile size (4" x 4") and am enjoying the change. For this swap you will create one mixed media artist tile using at least three of the items listed below. Don't feel limited to just three, but to receive a 5 rating you must use three.

Once your tile is complete, write your name, username, date and swap title on the back, and package it securely with adequate postage and send it to your partner. The theme is up to the sender, but please make sure you aren't sending your partner anything that would offend or displease them.

Use three (or more) of these elements in your beautiful art:

• modeling paste
• glass bead gel
• glitter
• deli paper
• foil or metal tape
• wire
• alcohol ink
• washi tape
• fibers (ribbon, twine, yarn, thread, etc.)
• security envelope pattern
• dictionary page (any language)

note the term artist tile in this swap refers to the size and shape. The background surface can be any sturdy material that will withstand handling through the mail, not necessarily an actual tile. The precut artist tiles by strathmore are bristol board, I believe, although they may have others as well.
