Description:

No, the picture is not my artwork!! I wish it was.

Collect your daily ephemera for a day or two... Up to a full week. No nasty fast food wrappers, etc... But a wrapper from a tea bag or a chocolate bar might be fine if they are clean. Bus tickets, receipts (without your personal payment information!), junk mail (remove your address), unused napkins or coasters from a restaurant you visit, stamps that arrive on your mail, whatever... At least one item must include words (that should be simple) and one must be related to tea or coffee or hot chocolate. In keeping with our Cup and Chaucer theme!!

Save it up.

Now, sort through. Using as many pieces as possible, or even bits of the pieces, words, images, (use a minimum of three different ephemera pieces), create a work of "art", a regular or oversized postcard to be mailed naked OR in an envelope (if it's not flat enough or you are afraid it might get messed up, etc) to your partner. Use any other supplies you like to finish it off... Paint, markers, pens, etc... Embellish if you feel so inspired... But the bulk of your supplies must be your collected ephemera.

This should be fun! If you receive one art collaged postcard made by your partner using her weekly found ephemera (sent by deadline), rate a five (or five and heart!)
