Description:

Dear Library,

Oh, how I love you. You're filled with so many of my favorite books... and books I haven't had time yet to read. You've got a lovely reading nook in the far corner I sneak off to on Sundays. Your staff is always helpful and friendly, especially that one librarian who always puts books on hold for me so I can get them right away. You've got art, sculptures, posters, even stuffed animals. You've got computers I can use to check swap-bot if I lose power at home. And I love your meeting rooms; that's where my book club meets each month! Don't ever change.

Love, Me!

In this swap, you will write a love letter to your library. You must include what it is that makes your library special. What about your library do you want to share with your partner? You must include at least two photos of your library (they can be printed out and included as part of the letter or they can be printed separately (either from your printer or a store).

If you love more than one library, just pick one. If there's interest, we may run this swap again and you can share the other one then.

The text of your letter must be at least one page long, not including photos. You may type or handwrite it. Be creative and enthusiastic about your library and show us why you love it so much.

If you want to decorate the letter or draw anything (like a library floorplan) you're welcome to do so, but it's not required.

@MsVal313 Awesome! I'm a volunteer at two of my local libraries (not sure yet how I'll choose which to write about). But I can't wait to hear about someone else's library!

One page = 8.5" x 11" sized paper. If you use smaller paper, you'll definitely need multiple pages. This doesn't include any photos.
