Description:

I love designing "stickers" that I can use to decorate envelopes I am sending to swap partners, and I am hoping to find others that do too!

For this swap, you will design 3-5 "sticker" designs that measure 1" x 2-5/8" (saved as .jpg files).

These designs will be sent electronically to your swap partners.

The sticker designs can then be put into a template for Avery 5160/8160 (or comparable) label sheet for printing.

The sticker design's theme should have something to do with Mail - air mail, happy mail, snail mail - you get the idea!

During the last round of this swap, some people sketched designs, then scanned them in to add other text elements, I designed one using an iPhone App (RhonnaDesigns) and others in Photoshop. All methods are welcome and all skill levels are welcome!

For inspiration look on Google Images or Etsy.

All levels of "graphic designers" are invited to join in this swap. You won't be rated on your ability, but rather if you send your partner the designated number of designs in a timely manner.

Start designing now and let me know if you have any questions.

(the picture includes 4 different stickers that were created in the last round of this swap)

I have my designs done! Though I might just make more! Anyone have a theme they are interested in?

Or should I say a color scheme.

I've resolved my ones but just hoping they change my ratings in time for me to qualify for this. Sounds so fun! I hope you do more!

Woohooo! I made it! I'll probably design mostly in the traditional mail red, white and blue or vintage brown on brown for this swap. Maybe I'll throw in a bonus pink Paris design :D We'll see. I do a lot of vintage travel stuff, so I'm really looking forward to playing with designs for this.

lhansendesign - I love anything PINK!

This is such a cool idea! Would it be okay if it ended up a blog post afterward? Like publishing only my designs, of course, unless my partners are okay with me posting their as well :)

@mesha publishing your own designs would be totally fine. As for your partners, I would think most would be okay with it, but I don't want to speak for them (you are free to post mine though! :-)
