FCMA -- Create A Treasure Map (& Treasure!)

Aaarrrrr! Create a treasure map... this can be a self-mailer, rolled and mailed in a tube, folded and secreted in a book cover, or sent to your partner via magic owl or -- well, for this swap let's just enlist the talents of the local mail carrier to deliver the map to your partner! Pirates optional!

Whether your map leads to buried treasure, a secret garden, fairy realm, magic castle, haunted house, or Aladdin's cave... totally up to the artist. This is crafting-intensive swap, so only sign up if you're willing to commit to creating and sharing a mysterious, excellent swap experience. Embellish with wax seals, ribbons, compass rose, etc. etc. Here's an inspirational YouTube video to get started. Include a bit of treasure for your partner and make this a Truly Special Swap!

REQUIREMENTS: Create at least a letter size (8.5" x 11") map. Include a little "treasure" for your partner, which should relate to your map and/or your partner's profile preferences.

Decorate the envelope, mailing tube, or package with a theme related to your treasure/map.

Include a small treasure that relates to the map / treasure / partner profile.

Mail on time, rate promptly, and have fun with this swap!

Header art is an oldie mail art of mine. It started out 11"x14" heavy 100% cotton paper (these sheets of paper and the film boxes that were used at my job were just tossed once all the film was used!)
