Description:

One of our own lovely CDN gals has set up a swap in the Creative Collages group - I asked her permission to set up a similar swap here. As an awesome Canuck, what could she say but "yes"? You know you would have, too.

I'm stealing most of her wording.

This is sort of like a chain letter but with collaged postcards instead. First of all, make a postcard (4 x 6") and collage it with some cut outs from books, magazines, etc. Don't write on it - it's for your partner to use, or keep for the art (make it so s/he doesn't want to send it away).

Send it in an envelope (mail art on the envie is encouraged - hats off to the original swap by @sfreer - but NOT required).

Inside the envie include at least 15 pieces of collage goodies cut out from magazines, books, etc - be sure to cut these out nicely so your partner doesn't have to trim excess - ready to use condition only!

If you want to include extras for your partner, tuck them into a piece of folder paper or a small envie marked as extras so that they know - be less concerned with the cutting of these, if you like.

When you receive the swap, you'll use THOSE bits and pieces to create your own collaged postcard. You'll send this one to another partner in the next swap, along with your own 15 or so pieces of collage goodies to send out the next round.

So one collaged, handmade postcard, including at least 15 cut out collage bits, to one partner, in an envelope.
