Description:

For this swap we are going to make an embroidered ATC.

Embroidered for this swap means: by hand cross stitched (pattern example above), can be by hand in free or other kind of embroidery, can be with your sewing machine. The fabric you choose for this embroidery depends on the technique you have chosen, senders choice! A free choice brings more creative possibilities for partners!!!!!!!!

About the ATC first: An ATC – Artist Trading Card - must be 2.5" x 3.5" (inches), it can be positioned either horizontally or vertically. You can use any medium you wish to create your mini work of art, in this swap AN EMBROIDERY. After embroidering you have to construct it with a sturdy back. In case of the embroidery I should sew, embroider my work on the back, or use two sided tape (do not use glue, that will damage your embroidery), perhaps you know something else or something better, that’s okay with the swap. On the back you have to write the name/the title of your ATC (in my example "Odette wants to be a singer"), the name of the swap, the date and your name. It is nice to put your ATC in a plastic (ATC) sleeve to protect it.

In the list below you have to name a letter of the alphabet. Can be yours, can be your husbands, your child, your friend, your grandson,…. your choice. You have to name something else: something that belongs to that person, to that name, it is up to sender what and how much colors she/he (? is there a he in this group), will use in her embroidery, you can use charms, embellishments, ribbons or something else if you like. If you prefer you can write more information, like: it’s my grandson, he is 4 years old. An example: my granddaughters name is Odette, my letter is the O, she wants to be a singer (something about music on the ATC), she is 3 years old.

The picture above is just an idea from an old magazine. Please try to make a choice in relation with the age, if possible, give more information. You can use a pattern that’s ready, you can design your own pattern, senders choice.

You must have at least 5 swaps under your belt to participate. I will angel if necessary, but please follow through!!

You will have 4 full weeks after the final sign-up date to make your creation. Please, DO check dislikes in your partner's profile so as not to offend. THANK YOU, this is a requirement!

Please contact your partner (and the coordinator) if you're having trouble with the deadline and communicate with them. I will angel if you don't receive anything (swap or contact) from your partner after you rate appropriately.

Do you have questions, please ask!

Of course you have to be a member of this group to join the swap.

I will angel (or take care for angeling) if necessary.
