Description:

I did something really, really great, crazy, odd, super detailed.

I took all my saved postage stamps. ALL OF THAT HUGE MESS, and I organized my used postage stamps into a small one inch super cheap 94 Cents 3 ring binder. I used an Avery photo sleeves, 10 pack, and some of those baseball protectors. I have 16 pages total and all kinds of categories such as birds, dogs, flowers, buildings, landscapes.

Well I have a category called BORING Peeps. Those are just those really dull postage stamps with dull images of people, presidents, royality etc.

For this swap you are to find your BORING people postage stamps, make 2 fun atcs where you jazz up your boring person, add wings, or a crown (if they dont have one), make it zetti if you understand zetti Please google zetti if you want more info. OR {Insert your own idea here.}

Stamps can be from any country for this swap.

AND just to mix it up. You must add at least one word to the card. Princess or HOT or admire, or dream, you get the idea.

So a boring postage stamp person, all jazzed up, plus at least one word.

The words can be hand written, computer printed, from letter stickers, from rubber stamps, or cut from books or magazines.

You will have 2 partners for this swap.

You card must measure 2.5 times 3.5, have a sturdy backing, and some contact info on the back. Please make sure your items are glued down well or sealed with your choice of sealer, Modge podge or Americana which is my preferred sealer.

It is strongly suggested Cards need to be mailed in a way that protects them from damage. Either put them in a plastic sleeve or another envelope, tape it down so it doesnt dance around in the envelope. If you use brads or eyelets or bumpy items, please write "NON machine-able" or "Please hand stamp", and add an additional 21 cents to the postage.

I should add that after sorting all my postage stamps into the clear plastic sleeves, I covered the opening with the blue painters tape, so they wont fall out. This tapes comes off easy to open and pull out stamps.

There will be more to this boring stamps series, as I love atcs with postage stamps.

Future swaps are Flag postage stamps. George Washington, Lincoln, the liberty bell, fireworks, buildings.

This is senders choice so you may go get started. Please be artful and send something you are proud to add your name to.

Although it hasnt been necessary yet, I do angel all my swaps, once you have contacted the sender twice and rated them a 1.

FYI, I do realize the image for this swap, the George Washington cards, are not atc size, in fact they look like Twinches. This was the best example I could find. You still need to make your cards 2.5 x 3.5 despite the image for this swap. It is an example of jazzing up a boring postage stamps of George Washington.

Once again is zentangles OK?

As long as your are not just doing a Zentangle back ground and adding the boring person postage stamp. We are jazzing up the person by adding wings or a crown or a costume or zettifying the person.

The idea is to make the person not so boring. Add a tutu, or a tie, or a dress etc.
