My favorite kinds of swaps!! Can't wait!!

purtie26 12/18/2014 #

why is there such a long wait time to have the packages sent by? I know I have posted here before but see my comment was deleted.

purtie26 12/18/2014 #

sorry wrong swap but still a month is a long time to have a swap sent out by.

sammieianime 12/19/2014 #

No your comment was not deleted. Your comment regarding time was posted on the other swap. I will copy and paste my reply to your comment here ---A month gives people time :) there is no rush. You can always send yours earlier in the month :) life happens so this gives people extra time :) some people like myself work 2 jobs. The extree time is nice to have :) i would rather have more time then too little :)thank you for your concern.

What is a 1 ounce envelope please? I mean, is that the recommended weight? Or is it a size? Or something else? Also, is there a minimum spend? Or minimum number of items?

emilyjane 12/26/2014 #

Just a quick question, does the one ounce envelope mean the total weight including the items inside? Also can we possibly have a minimum estimated value as a guideline please? That would be really helpful :)

sammieianime 12/26/2014 #

1 ounce including envelope. This isn't an expensive swap. Depending on the weight of the items will determine how many items you will put in the envelope. For example a note card and envelope is kind of like one item. However, if you are giving stickers and they are small you will be putting a number of stickers in the envelope. If the sticker is huge then maybe one or two stickers depending on the size. This swap is meant to be economical, not expensive. So even things from your craft room stash is perfectly fine :D You have a lot of freedom with this swap. Its going to be fun! thank you all for joining <3

What is a cutable?

sammieianime 12/30/2014 #

Something you cut, cut sticker, magazine, advertisement, cereal box. Anything you cut :)

I have found there are lots of quality items one can fit in an envelope without it costing too much.

Here in Australia it goes by weight as well as size. If it fits in a 2cm slot, it is fine for size. I have been able to send jewellery, fun memo pads, even small cross stitch kits, etc and it still fits through that slot.
