Description:

@myshoesdon tmatch is hosting a similar swap in the public forums, USA only, and has kindly given me permission to host an international one here.

Think of this as a miniature whimsy jar swap! If you use a plastic bottle, it shouldn't cost too much to send.

Recycle an old RX pill bottle and keep it out of the landfill!!

Do: Create something awesome! Take off any labels and wash the bottle very well inside and out. Decorate the outside AND fill the inside.

You can make something specific with the bottle -- a travel sewing kit, a first aid kit, a survival kit, etc.

OR

You can fill the bottle with tiny goodies for your partner -- beads, stickers, buttons, etc. Fun random objects!

Don't: slap a few stickers on it and call it decorated. Don't stick in 2 bandages or two bobby pins and call it filled.

Only send what you would like to receive, don't send something lame. Put some time and effort into this one. Senders choice, but do take a look at your partner's profile to help you make something they will really enjoy!

Minimum rating 4.99. Unrated newbies with filled-out profiles welcome.

Be sure to include your username and the swap title so you can be rated quickly, and RATE your partners. People who don't rate won't be allowed in any of my future swaps.

I will check everyone's profile before I assign partners. If you have overdue swaps or unresolved '1's, you will be dropped from the swap.

If you have questions, please message me -- I check my messages more often than I check the comments board!

Have fun!

What do you think the best way to mail them is so they don't get cracked without costing a fortune if it is international.

It will help if You also give a minimum size/height for the bottle.

For international postage, there won't be much difference in sending the pill bottle whimsy jar in a little box vs a padded envelope. It will be safer sending it in a sturdier container, though. I would highly recommend referencing postcalc.usps.com to for postage costs. If you pick a random country, it will give you an idea of what the postage will cost based upon the weight. Even in an envelope, you need to use package pricing.
