Description:

Let's try a new way of doing our writing prompts. For this swap (which will be a series if there's participation), you will choose one of two prompts and write at least two paragraphs based on the prompt.

For this electronic swap, you will post your answer to the group forum. That's what's new and different about the swap. You'll have one partner who will rate after you post on the forum. Hopefully, the group posts will yield discussion and comments among the swap participants and Write Now members.

Prompt 1: For $1,000,000, would you be willing to never again see or talk to your best friend? (#180)

OR

Prompt 2: If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be? (#127)

The prompts are from "The Book of Questions" by Dr. Gregory Stock. The numbers after each question are so I can keep track of which ones we do.

Electronic. Group membership.

May I suggest that the directions are to post on the forum but also send your answer to your partner -- because my impression is that people do not check the forum every day or for periods of time and the partner might not realize s/he has something to rate?

June: The idea of this swap is to get people TO the group forum.

Partners are assigned. Remember: you are posting and rating from the Write Now! group forum.

I LOVE the forum idea -- I just get antsy when I'm waiting forever for people to rate wondering if they go whatever I sent.

My answer is posted.
