Description:

I thought it would be fun to do a round robin letter along the lines of a travelling postcard but with a bit more text.

How it works: Take one piece of paper (a5 or a4) Write the return address in the top right hand corner. Write an introduction - date, who you are, where you're from, what you're doing today, what you love. Write about a paragraph. Decorate the page if you like but remember people need space to write.

You then put the letter in an envelope and send it to your swap partner. Once everyone has sent the first round I will set up round 2.

In the next round, they will write a paragraph to you before forwarding it on to the next person. Once your page is full it gets posted back to you.

I will be starting with an a5 piece of paper to see how it goes.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Please do not join this swap if you can not commit to completing it. Round robin swaps rely on people partaking responsibly. No recent 3s or 1s. Newbies welcome with a well filled out profile.

If you decide not to continue with the swap please return the page you receive back to the original sender.

Can you clarify the size of the paper? In inches? Thanks!

spangleuk 03/11/2015 #

@karen07 - you can use any size paper you like.
however, A4 is 8,3 x 11.7 A5 is: 5.8 x 8.3 Hope this helps.

Helps completely! Thank you.

Can we use the standard sheet size in the US: 8.5 x 11 inches? It's very close to A4.

spangleuk 03/17/2015 #

@justine13 you can use what ever size you like

Violethare 03/19/2015 #

How many rounds will the total be??

spangleuk 03/21/2015 #

@violethare I have decided yet. It depends how popular it is. I'm anticipating at least 5.

When we write a paragraph to the main person, do we put our contact info? Or is it just for them to read a bunch of paragraphs written to them with no potential committment of writing back to participants?

spangleuk 04/18/2015 #

@roxswapbot it is completely up to you. if you would like to give the persont he option to write back please leave your contact details, however you have no obligation or commitment to.
