I have recently been introduced to pocket letters & I am officially hooked…so I thought what would be better than to bring them to our group of awesome swappers. Pocket Letters are fun to use with your pen pals but they are also great fun for a one time swap. A pocket letter is where you decorate all the pockets of a trading card page protector and send the whole page folded in thirds and fit it in a regular #10 envelope. This will take some additional postage so weigh your envelope carefully. Since many of us may be more than ready for winter to be over. In this swap you will make a pocket letter with a Spring Theme. So it can be anything that reminds you of spring. You can fill the pockets with anything you like - stickers, washi samples, photos, ATC's, tea bags, buttons, post its, pretty paper, quotes, die cuts, basically anything you can fit in one of the pockets. You can find loads of inspiration on Instagram and Pinterest. The swap photo is from here: http://themintgreenpolkadot.com/2015/02/pocket-letter-love/ Check out her blog & video! The idea is that you will create fun letter filled with fun little surprises. This swap is sender's choice, but reading a partner’s profile will make it all the more fun to create something you know they will love and that you would be thrilled to receive. Please remember to include your user ID and the swap name with the letter for your partner in one of the pockets. Also, take a little time to decorate the envelope so it screams “spring is here!†in their mailbox. Participants must have a 4.9 cumulative with no unresolved 1’s and no recent (last 6 months) 3's. I will check profiles before I assign partners. I will angel if needed, but with this group I am sure that will not be necessary. Feel free to ask any questions below. This one is US only...but feel free to host an International version. Have Fun!! |
