I am so excited about this. I have been watching swaps and reading up on pocket letters ever since first hearing about them. A week or two ago, there were only about 2-3 YouTube videos about them. But last night I looked again and YouTube is exploding with them! Here is my favorite by Andrea Gomoll: Pocket Letters Mixed Media style. It is the style I am going to be using. Hope my partner likes the style too. Of course I am a total newbie to pocket letters and mine won't be nearly as gorgeous as Andrea's are. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qg9-zjCU2HY

I've only done one of the fun swaps and it required that both sides be done. I'm glad this swap description leaves us the option on whether or not to do the back side. Though it's prettier, it can raise the price of postage and can even keep it from fitting into a business sized envelope. But, I am a total newbie to pocket letters also.

I like to decorate the front and put the goodies that don't match the theme tucked in the back to keep things looking pretty:)

Choice is yours as to how you want to do it as long as you follow the swap directions.

@Wanda I saw the YouTube and I love how Andrea does hers. Great idea! Making my first one tomorrow!

You can send these in any type envelope, flat brown envelope or folded to go into business/letter type envelopes. Which ever is more reasonable postagely. (is that a word?)
