Draw: 20 Cats USA

I've seen the books '40 ways to draw a _____" which is what inspired this swap.

What do we draw these on? Just any type of paper?

Can these 20 be a litter ;). On one sheet of paper or 20 sheets? I know you said up to us but clear that up just for me. Swappers can get pretty particular.

i'm just going to use copy paper unless i paint them... the kitties should all be separated from each other... they can all be on one sheet if they fit :)

@Margo , is it acceptable if I use a mini zine format (a single sheet of paper folded into an 8 page booklet) for my 20 drawings?

A mini zine is fine:) As long as it's hand drawn and not photo copied:)

All of my cats in the zine are hand drawn but a zine is traditionally photocopied so the artist retains the original. So my partner would be receiving a copy of my zine. If I'm understanding you correctly, this would not be acceptable for this swap?

The idea is really to stretch yourself as an artist... it's an exercise... I'm probably going to end up with 40 cats or something... they won't all be sent, but you have so many to draw, that you just do it without over thinking it... does that make sense?

I understand the point of the drawing exercise which is why I was interested in participating. I love making zines and especially appreciate the ability to share my artwork with others while, at the same time, not giving it away completely. So, for the interest of the others signed up for this swap, I think I'll go ahead and pass on this one. But thank you so much for taking the time to responding to my question.

Ah... I do get what you are saying... I'm sorry that I wasn't getting the essence... I'm overloaded on my own art and other peoples'...lol... but I understand the desire to keep some of it... or all of it;) I'm fine with it;)
