Description:

Got some scrapbook paper gathering dust? Origami paper left over from a project? Some foreign language newspapers or magazines? Make some envelopes and reduce your clutter!

You can make your own envelope templates by opening up an existing envelope and tracing onto other paper. You can also glue the opened envelope to the patterned paper but this might be bulky depending on the type of patterned paper you're using.

If using paper that is thin or flimsy (like newsprint or magazine pages), you may want to line the envelope. There are patterns and tutorials available for this on YouTube and Google.

Please write the address on a separate piece of white paper and glue to your finished envelope - the P.O. machines like to "read" black writing on white spaces.

If you are inspired you can make more envelopes to send in the envelope going to your partner!

One envelope (approximate size 4" x 6") to one partner with a small flat something inside.

When making envelopes, I glue an opened envelope to card stock or old file folder. Then I can reuse the template multiple times.
