Description:

I thought it would be fun and interesting to try some different writing techniques. If there's enough interest, this can be a series of swaps with a different technique highlighted each time. You may write poetry, fiction, or non fiction-- Your choice. The only requirement is to try the technique below.

** Repetition in writing creates a memorable effect. Write a short piece where a word or phrase is repeated consistently.

This may be hand-written or printed/typed; Send to 2 partners. Profiles will be checked before assignment made and any person may be dropped due to questions about their profile. And don't forget to communicate with me and your partners if needed.

I love the idea for a series of swaps like this! I have used repetition before and I'm excited to create a new piece.

If you have additional techniques you'd like to try, let me know.

I'm not the best writer, but enjoy writing! Can I join? Also, warning now I have 3 ones from last summer on my profile, but I sent the swaps last week and have been promised a new rating upon arrival.

@katdog you don't have to be a great author to join. We're all still learning. However, I do ask that you do your best to ful fill the commitment. Don't sign up if you have any doubts about completing the swap. You could put it on your watch list, go ahead and write your entry, then join before partners are assigned. That way no question about completing the swap.
