Description:

Pocket Letters are fun to use with your pen pals but they are also great fun for a one time swap.

A pocket letter is where you decorate all the pockets of a trading card page protector and send the whole page folded in thirds and fit it in a regular #10 envelope. This will take some additional postage so weigh your envelope carefully.

This time the theme is April Showers...be creative you can interpret the theme any way you like just add an explanation either in your letter or as an additional note in one of the pockets.

You can fill the pockets with anything you like - stickers, washi samples, photos, ATC's, tea bags, buttons, post its, pretty paper, quotes, die cuts, inspirational quotes, basically anything you can fit in one of the pockets.

You can find loads of inspiration on Instagram and Pinterest.

The idea is that you will create fun letter filled with fun little surprises. This swap is sender's choice, but reading a partner’s profile will make it all the more fun to create something you know they will love and that you would be thrilled to receive. Please remember to include your user ID and the swap name with the letter for your partner in one of the pockets.

Also, take a little time to decorate the envelope so they know something fun has arrived in their mailbox. Participants must have a 4.9 cumulative with no unresolved 1’s and no recent (last 6 months) 3's.

I will check profiles before I assign partners. I will angel if needed, but with this group I am sure that will not be necessary. Feel free to ask any questions below.

This one is US only...I would love it if someone would be willing to host an international version.

Have Fun!!

Sounds like fun! Hoping I can do it. Hate to say it but I'm glad it's only USA, postage is getting insane.

@charlottenc I did an international version last time and I just can't host it. I agree that the postage can be a limiting factor for what should be a low cost swap. I am hoping someone will decide to host it for those that don't mind the extra postage.
