Description:

This swap is for us ladies in Canada who would love to try out the latest craze in pen palling called Pocket Pals in a safe, judgment free swap.

For this swap you will have one partner. Basically, you fill up a 9 pocket trading card sleeve with 2.5 X 3.5 scrapbook paper. Inside each of the pockets you tuck in little goodies. They might be samples of washi tape , ribbon, stickers, buttons, embellishments, tea bags, sequins, etc.

The first pocket should hold a nice letter from you, about a 1/2 page This pocket letter is free form so choose whatever colors and themes you’d like. Get creative! you can do it!! You do not have to decorate the back of the pocket, only the front. Make sure the swap name and your Swapbot name is on there somewhere.

Remember: this swap is for people who are new at pocket letters, so if your picky, this may not be the swap for you.

Try to keep things relatively flat, when you fold this protector into thirds, you can mail it in a long envelope. Although postage should not be too bad because it’s only for us within Canada. Open to swappers with at least a rating of 4.99 as this is a group swap there shouldn’t be any issues.

Send your swap on time, and don't forget to rate your partner. Think of your rating as a thank you note, it is very nice to thank the person who took time to create something for you Rate a 5 if it was sent on time, even if you didn't like it.

Thanks for joining my swap. If there's a lot of interest, I will do monthly theme swaps

This is for Canada only obviously as it’s in the group.

Glad to have you join.

Would it be possible to get the send by deadline pushed back a week? 1 week I don't think is enough for a craft intense project like this.

Ginger4520 05/15/2015 #

Sure adjusting the time. I had it short for my surgery but it got postponed so I'm good with adding the week.

Thinking about this...

Angie1974 05/24/2015 #

I hope it wouldn't just be stickers slapped on stuff....no offense...I've experienced this before. Maybe I am one of the too picky ones...

Ginger4520 05/27/2015 #

@Shannoneke I will definitely host more so hopefully you can join, sorry to hear you had bad swappers in your swap.

@Angie1974 It's ok to be picky with things, we all are at some point or another. For this one I don't mind stickers personally because people are learning how to do them so of course, if you sign up please understand you might get that. I, myself used some stickers and print off's etc until I get totally use to everything.

I enjoyed this newbie pocket letter swap so much. I sure hope that we see another one of these in October when this part of the world gets too cold to be outside. Then we can really focus on making them. Thanks again.
