Copied word for word from mediatinker's swap ages ago. Swap cards are calling cards or gift tags that you include with every swap you send. They help your partner ID what swap they are receiving and from whom. If you've participated in a bunch of similar swaps at once (like the recipe swaps), you know sometimes it's hard to keep track of who sent what for which swap! Swap cards really help clear things up. In this swap, you'll have 2 partners and will send each of them 10 swap cards. They can be any size or medium, but should include: •Partner's first name •Partner's Swap-bot ID •Spaces for writing the swap name and date •Graphic, photo, or other decorative element HINTS/SUGGESTIONS: * Check your partners' profiles to see what sort of embellishments might make them smile. * I make my swap cards on thin cardstock, like business cards or postcards, but use your judgment about what works best with your medium. * Swap cards are not limited to paper, but your partners must be able to write on them, to fill in the swap name and date. * Swap cards can be single sided or double sided. * You can make them by hand, or use your computer. * If printing on your computer, 300 dpi or higher provides good image quality. * Double-check the spelling of your partners' names and IDs. :-) International swap, everyone welcome, but I will check for "bad swappers" before partners are assigned. |
