PPU - 4th of July Pocket Letter Swap - USA only

Hi Susan! Can I get some clarification? The swap description says decorate the PL in the theme of 4th of July and/or red, white and blue. So if we choose to decorate the PL in red, white and blue it doesn't have to be a patriotic/4th July theme? For example: On one pocket I might use red washi tape, white buttons and blue flowers. On another pocket I might use red bling, white flowers and blue washi., etc. There would be no 4th of July/American/patriotic stuff. Just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly.

Yes - you are 100% correct. I equate Red, White & Blue with the 4th of July, period. So you are free to chose a 4th of July theme that includes the 3 colors I've mentioned - with say some 4th of July decorations (think sparklers, fireworks, picnics, barbeques, flags, etc) or just a Red, White & Blue colored pocket letter.

I wondered if you might consider changing the "send by" date so that we could receive these before July 4th? Just a thought, because at least for me once a holiday has passed the anticipation and fun of celebrating it is over so its more fun to get holiday things that you can enjoy for the week leading up to it. Probably can't for this swap since folks have signed up already, but maybe future holiday theme ones!

@Crescendo - very valid point you made. The only reason I didn't put the send by date a little closer to the actual Holiday is because I figured lots of people would be traveling/busy right before the 4th & may not have time to mail with all the festivities going on. Food for thought on my next one though. :-)
