Rating requirement:4.89

Date items must be sent by:June 21, 2015
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

For this swap, you will have one partner and you will be filling a small sized priority flat rate box with stationary or notecards to your partner. You MUST send at least two pages of stationary per envelope! Envelope and stationary must be matching, same with notecard and matching envelope. Feel free to add some journaling cards, sticky notes, or memo sheets! But you MUST fill the entire box so it's almost breaking open with stuff! :) and I mean STUFF IT! It costs $5.95 to send in this box. If you prefer, you may use a 6x9 or greater sized padded envelope or envelope to send them in, but it may be cheaper to just do the flat rate box.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

I'm going to quote someone else here because they say it better than I do a 4.8 rating seems pretty low.... If it's broken down into 5s, 3s, and 1s, a rating of 4.8 means that 1-in-10 swaps can be a 3 (assuming all the others are 5s), or 1-in-20 swaps can be a 1! That's 10% late or 5% no-sends.

4.89 is a much better filter to keep out problem swappers.

Wanted to point out about your description for the swap states: "...you will have one partner and you will be filling a small size priority mail flat rate box..." Which "small size USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box did you mean for this swap?
While at my local post office the "small size priority mail flat rate box" I saw was about 8 1/2" x 5 1/4", in fact I am holding one of these boxes right now in my lap as I type this message.
Are you aware that it costs $5.90 to mail this small size priority mail box? It does come with a tracking number. However, shouldn't you have told swappers in your description what it will cost them to send this swap?
Also, a standard 8 1/2" x 11" stationary sheet of paper would have to be folded flat to fit into this size & shape box. My swappers of stationary won't accept folded stationary sheets.
As @starhiker quotes having even 5% flakers makes this swap too expensive for me.

You can get a flate rate padded priority envie that goes for $6.10 and really get alot in there and won't have to fold anything. I do not like my sheets folded before I get to write on them. .

I have had a few bad marks myself, I'd be willing to do a similar private swap with some if they are willing to swap with me. Most of my writing papers have no matching envies. I also can make it.

I am aware that it costs money for this swap, but you are destashing notecards and stationary that you already have. You do not have to participate if you feel it's too much to ship a small flat rate box. At my post office, it costs only $5.25 any weight, any size. If you would like to send it in a padded envelope that is okay as well, but you should be stuffing it. I believe it would be cheaper to put all that paper in a flat rate box instead of a padded envelope because it can get heavy! Please let me know if you have any suggestions on future swaps like this, and I will be changing the rating sign up to 4.89 as suggested. Thank you!

Would love maybe a private swap similar if anyone is interested. Just in case anyone is uncomfortable with my rating of 4.9483

Whippet, where do you get your stationery? Pretty much all of mine is the A5, or 5x8, size, which fits into the specified box pretty well.

My comment is that I do not want my letter sheets folded. If they dont fit in that box than do not put sheets in there. That is why I suggested the padded flat rate envelope which is 8x11. You can get MUCH more in this than that tiny box. JUst my humble opinion
