Description:

Let's make a kawaii postcard with kawaii sticker flakes and deco/washi tape! You can also use kawaii stickers from sheets if you need to, but they must be an accepted brand. NO DOLLAR BIN KAWAII!!

  • The postcard must have a specific COLOR THEME. You may choose any color to create with, but it must be at least 80% that color.
  • You will have 1 partner for this swap.
  • You will make a postcard out of a STURDY backing such as thick card stock or thin cardboard. White works best but as long as you can read the writing any color works. Please use a solid color though so it won't compete with the sticker flakes.
  • Minimum size is 4"x6" but you can go bigger. Bigger PCs may require additional postage, please see your PO for prices! Odd shapes are okay too but again, may require additional postage.
  • On the front cover it with sticker flakes and deco/wahsi tape. Pack them on there! Try not to overlap them but don't skimp either! Just fit as much as you can. =) Try to use both tape and flakes/stickers.
  • You MUST use kawaii brand stickers! Stickers from sheets count too, but only kawaii branded ones. DO NOT use stickers you can buy at Michael's, Target, or Walmart! Those are NOT kawaii!
  • You are not required to but you may want to cover it with clear packing tape once you are finished to protect the flakes. The mail system can be hard on handmade items! I also encourage you to take a picture of it before mailing just in case.
  • On the back write a short message and include the swap name and your user id so you can get rated.
  • Please use stamps, not a metered postage label.
  • Send this through the mail "naked" so that everyone can enjoy your lovely piece of art!

See the swap pic for a great example of a PC using just sticker flakes. This swap requires both stickers and tape however! The PC in the swap pic is @JemStone 's. Thanks goes to her for letting me borrow her swap idea and picture!
