1 unused blank notecard with envelope

10 stickers (can be a sheet, or loose, if smaller than a penny 3 stickers=1)

1 unused postcard

2 handmade or decorative envelopes (must be mailable size)

1 foreign coin or paper money

3 washi tape samples (at least 12 in. each, wrap them on a surface that the tape can be removed from, playing cards work well, or paper laminated/wrapped in packing tape)

1 bookmark

2 hot drink sachets (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, etc...please check for allergies)

A letter set (2 sheets of stationery w/ matching envelope)

5 different sheets of note/memo paper

A handmade item

4 interesting playing cards (no bicycle kind, must have a picture or design of some sort)

1 pen (can be an advertising pen, gel pen, artist pen, decorative pen)

10 used postage stamps

1 unused forever stamp

1 ATC (Artist Trading Cards, made by you or someone else!)

3 pieces of Ephemera (book pages, maps, tickets, foreign languages, ect)

1 piece of fabric at least 4x4 inches

3 - 4x6 decorative recipe cards

2 recipes on decorative recipe cards

3 scrap pieces of decorative paper (at least ATC size)

1 small gift bag

1 fridge magnet

1 sheet of at least 20 address labels with your partners address

1 souvenir from where you live (can be a map, postcard, magnet, keychain, etc..)

A summer themed item

A profile based gift

What to do:

Remember to include the name of the swap and your username somewhere inside the envelope! Choose three different things that are on the list and send to your partner by the deadline. They must be different - example: DO NOT send 3 bookmarks. This does not count. And no, a handmade bookmark DOES NOT count as 2 items. Although this is a type 3 swap, flat mail IS acceptable. I know sometimes people choose to send small parcels or handmade items, so I have made this a type 3. You can mail this swap at the letter rate or parcel rate.

This is not a profile based swap, it is senders choice, but do check your partners profile, as you may have something that your partner will love! Rate fairly, as long as you receive 3 items, and it was sent on time, rate a 5.

Newbies welcomed who have been a member of Swap-bot for at least 1 week and have a well filled out profile. Must have logged into swapbot within 3 days of partners being assigned. No unexplained low ratings, no late swaps on dash.

I will angel only AFTER you have tried to contact your partner and have rated them a 1, but it is up to you to contact me.

If anyone would like to help angel, I would appreciate it! please comment below or message me :)

NEWBIES please read: Partners will be assigned 1 day after the last day to sign up for the swap. Partners are assigned using an automatic computer system. Be sure to log into swap-bot within 3 days of partners being assigned, or you will be banned from the swap, also be sure to come back after the first of the month to see whom your partner is, by clicking the See the partners you send to button.
To fill in your profile: click profile, click edit profile, click the tab that says personal Well filled means there is info your partner can use like:crafts you like, things you'd like to receive, things you collect, things you dont like/allergies, a little about yourself, themes you like, etc. click on any established swappers profile for ideas.

This should be type a 2 swap. Ill watch for now and once it get changed to type 2 I will join :) I love these swaps.

susiescottsdale 07/10/2015 #

whats the difference between type 2 or 3, and why does it matter?

myshoesdontmatch 07/10/2015 #

@pastryandprimer i address this in the description but this swap will be a type 3 swap from now on since many people send small parcels or handmade items for this swap i think it is important they are rated accordingly. flat mail is still acceptable as well.

@susiescottsdale type 2 is for flat mail like a letter, postcard, etc. anything that you can mail for the letter rate excluding handmade items like ATCs

type 3 is for crafts and parcels, most swaps are type 3.

the main reason this matters in reality is a swap may say you must have 10 type 3 swaps completed to join. Well if you have done 10 postcard swaps (type 2) and thats it, you wouldnt qualify for the swap. it's simply a way of measuring how many of a specific type of swap you have done.

I Just Love These Swaps !! Can't wait to see what I get! : )

I have not joined this swap but will be happy to help angel if needed. (";)

Bookwyrm 07/21/2015 #

Newbie here! My entire (unopened) pack of stickers doesn't quite equal 3/1...it's closer to 2/1. Would it be all right to compensate with an additional, premium item? This will be my VERY FIRST swap, and I'd hate to start out with a bad rating on a technicality.

Advice, please?

myshoesdontmatch 07/21/2015 #

@bookwyrm i'm not sure i understand. you can send 10 stickers if they are tiny stickers you would send 30, if they are penny size or larger you only need to send 10 stickers (can be a sheet, or cut from a sheet, loose, etc.) If you don't have that i would suggest picking a different thing from the list to send :) i do hope that answers your question. ♥

Bookwyrm 07/22/2015 #

Never mind; I'll just add more stickers or swap 'em out for something else.

tammielynn1969 07/27/2015 #

@bookwyrm any amount of stickers in a package or not counts as 1 item

Terri07 07/27/2015 #

Okay to send more than 3 different things?

myshoesdontmatch 07/28/2015 #

@terri07 if you want to send extras that is your decision, not required

BooKitten 07/28/2015 #

I'm not sure if I can join this swap yet, as I'm new to this site, but if I'm unable I'd like to help someone that may not get theirs?

EmJaye92 07/29/2015 #

Hi! I'm really interested in this swap because if I could join it would be my FIRST swap. However, I will not have been a member for a week by august 1st (I tried to sign up awhile ago, but had issues). My mother is a swap-bot member and could vouch for me if need be? Please let me know. :)

myshoesdontmatch 07/30/2015 #

Hi @emjaye92 who is your mother? you can message me if you want to, but you can sign up. :D

@myshoesdontmatch hello i'm new to swap bot and i was wondering if bc this is a type 3 swap does that mean that our package can't be flat? should i try to send something that isn't flat? i was thinking about doing more of the art items atcs, etc that would probably be flat in an envelope, is that ok?

myshoesdontmatch 08/ 2/2015 #

flat is fine, ATCs are crafts which is considered a type 3 swap. partners will be assigned tonight!

chicklebird 08/ 2/2015 #

@ myshoesdontmatch k, thanks! i'm excited to get started :)
