State Fair Photo Postcards

Ah, my favorite time of year, State Fair time. Let's commemorate our favorite things about our own state (or county, whatever) fairs by capturing their neon, greasy, arty, homey glory on film and sharing our own images with other like-minded State Fair lovers.

For this swap you will have 4 partners and send one photo postcard to each partner. The photo has to be one you've taken, although it might be from previous years' fairs; that's okay. Or you might want to photoshop a photo for special effects. You can send all partners the same photo or all different photos, that's up to you. Have fun with it! The State Fair is a wonderful showcase of American ingenuity. Accordingly, this swap will be for U.S. participants only. Sorry! Maybe I'll do an international one later if I hear from people that they have fairs over yonder, too.

I WILL ban swappers with more than 1 no send in the last 9 months, because I know how much it sucks to get "stood up" on your swap. That being said, let me know if you want to angel. I can angel also, as I have oodles of fair pics to share.

Making a photo into a postcard is pretty easy. The photo should be 4x6 inches, standard postcard size. Then just glue cardstock on the back. Use a dry glue (Uhu glue stick is my fave), or spray mount, or one of those scrapbook dot glue roller thingies.
