Description:

Credit to @jakeandnicksmom for the swap description and thank you for letting me use your excellent writeup for a CPG swap!

"This swap is for Pocket letter newbies, who want a chance to try out this new penpal craze, in a safe, judgment free swap. No stress, no worries. For this swap there is no wrong way of doing a Pocket Letter.

You will have one partner, this is US only for the this swap.

Basically, you fill up a 9 pocket trading card sleeve with 2.5 X 3.5 scrapbook paper.

Inside the pockets, you tuck in little goodies. They might be washi tape samples, ribbon, stickers, buttons, embellishments, tea bag, sequins, an ATC, mini notecard, etc.

The first pocket holds a nice letter from you, about a 1/2 page before folding.

There is NO theme for this swap as it's designed for swappers to try out making a pocket letter for the first time! Remember: this swap is for people who are new at pocket letters, so if your picky, this may not be the swap for you.

Try to keep things relatively flat, when you fold this letter into thirds, you can mail it in a standard size, long envelope. "

I'm not joining, but I just want to say that I love that you chose to do this swap in this group. I have seen these swaps all over the place, and had no idea what they were about. Nice to see such an open, friendly version for people to try out.

I'm not new to swapbot, but have never tried pocket letters, so am going to jump in and try it. Can we have a sorta "theme", like a season, or animals, or something like that?

Question: We "fill up a 9 pocket trading card sleeve with 2.5 X 3.5 scrapbook paper" and then put in goodies. No decoration at all? When we take out the goodies, we will have a pocket sheet with just pieces of scrapbook paper in it?

Decorate and fill each pocket!
