Description:

I love painting watercolor leaves. For this swap, you will create a watercolor leaf postcard. It is a sender's choice swap, so you can go ahead and create it now. Then, once I assign partners, you can ship it out quickly.

Please, no recent ones or threes. I reserve the right to ban any member based on posts in the public forum or FOPS- no double profilers, flakers, tag flakers, or high drama swappers.

I will check profiles as members sign up and ban as I go. Before I assign partners, I will check for overdue swaps as well.

I will angel, but I'd prefer not to, so please, adhere to my rules. Happy swapping!

Please excuse me for being in a brain - fog & I want to understand the swap descriptioon & requirements - I love painting leaves too, especially during the Autumn. For this swap we are to create a watercolor leaf postcard. Do you mean we take heavy piece of watercolor paper - postcard size - do artwork watercolor of a leaf, leaves? on picture side of postcard, then address, stamp, write on message side, before sending? Is it OK for artwork picture side to be laminated to protect the watercolor artwork. Water-based art materials are easily damaged by USPS - & you have this as International mail so chances of damage to artwork are higher.

lol - yes. I'm sorry. I try to be thorough - but I guess I wasn't. You are right. You will use a piece of heavy watercolor paper in a postcard size. You will paint a leaf or leaves on the image side. The back will be for addressing and message. It will be sent naked, unless you worry, you can use an envelope. I always send naked because I love getting the stamps on it. You are welcome to "laminate" the piece in a clear envelope or with lamination. I've received some like that, and it was well done.

Thanks for the excellent questions! :)

Yes, lol, that's me - artist - as I get all my materials, paints, paint brushes ready, then get ready &....What was it I'm to do?
Thanks for the directions & info.
Have to laugh has the written description & requirement for swaps remind of the lesson plans I wrote for school art teaching.

Oh! I totally understand! I've been busily writing lesson plans for the past few weeks - school starts next week.
Join us and paint some leaves! :D
