This swap is for Pocket letter creaters of all skill levels, who want a chance to try out this new penpal craze, in a safe, judgment free swap. No stress, no worries. For this swap there is no wrong way of doing a Pocket Letter. You will have one partner. Basically, you fill up a 9 pocket trading card sleeve with 2.5 X 3.5 scrapbook paper that is decorated, use things like quotes, stickers, ribbon ect., And, inside the back of the pockets you tuck in little goodies. They might be washi tape samples , ribbon, stickers, buttons, embellishments, tea bag, sequins, etc, The first pocket holds a nice letter from you, about a 1/2 page This pocket letter has a Fall Leaves / Colors Theme. Think Orange, Red, yellow and green. You can include images of Pumpkins also. Make sure the swap name and your Swapbot name is on there somewhere. Remember: this swap is for people who are new at pocket letters, so if your picky, this may not be the swap for you Try to keep things relatively flat, when you fold this letter into thirds, you can mail it in a long envelope. Open to all Beginner Crafters group members in good standing, however I will check profiles before assigning partners. Send your swap on time, and don't forget to rate your partner. Think of your rating as a thank you note, its very nice to thank the person who took time to create something for you. Rate a 5 if it was sent on time ,even if you didn't like it. If you don't receive your swap please let me and your partner know before rating a 1 or 3. So join one or join all, If anyone has ideas for future pocket letters or themes, I'm open to suggestions. There is lots of Youtube videos and Pinterest boards out there if you need ideas. You can see some of my pocket Letters on Instagram: ohhowfun2012 |
