Description:

ladydy5 has been kind enough to allow me to host a 9 little pockets swap with a twist. So, here it is:

I will host a SERIES of 9 swaps that will result in a complete "Rainbow Pocket Page," a 9 little pockets page containing all the colors of the rainbow. Each 3-4 weeks I will post a swap for an ATC in a particular color of the rainbow: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, light to mid-range Blue, dark/indigo Blue, Violet/Purple, plus 2 more colors (maybe Black and White, or Silver and Gold) to be added to a 9 pocket page. The 9 pocket page itself will be provided by the recipient of the swaps. After the initial 9 swaps, I will host a make-up swap for those who start the series late or miss a swap. At the completion of the series each participant will have a rainbow of ATCs in 9 little pockets!

For the first swap, the sender will create one (1) ATC for their partner that is predominantly (90+%) red. You can use any and/or all shades of red, from orange reds to blue reds, from light red to dark red. It is a multimedia swap; the sender picks which media to use. You can draw, paint, collage, or otherwise depict the color red, including using images (primarily red, of course) of figures or objects. This is an opportunity to play with different textures and materials. Emphasis here is on an artistic presentation of the color red. The ATC should have a solid backing (like cereal box weight) and be sent in a protective sleeve of some kind. You can make your own sleeve out of your choice of material if you like, or place the ATC in the center of a card so it will not get abused in the mail. The sender will also include an ATC size (2-1/2" x 3-1/2") piece of red paper for the back side. Please remember to add the name of the swap and your swap-bot name to the back of the ATC, and any additional info you would like.

Consistent with the intent of this group to have the focus on artistic presentation rather than an exchange of ephemera, nothing additional is required to be included in this swap. If you want to include an extra you may do so without fearing that you will be rated down for doing so. However, ratings are to be based on the ATC itself, not on any extras.

While I doubt I will need to do so, I will angel all swaps after due diligence is taken to contact your partner.

Cheers and good will to all who choose to join me in this swap! Let's have some fun! (Any questions, please contact me.)

This swap is to send an ATC in specific color to fill your own pocket holder so eventually you we will have a 9 Pocket wth a rainbow of colors. Is that correct?

This sounds great could you notify everyone in the group when the next swap comes up just so we won't miss the colors of the rainbow

ladydy5, yes this is a swap to send an ATC in a specific color to fill your own pocket holder so eventually we will have 9 Pockets wth a rainbow of colors.

Alisha98119, I'd be delighted to have you join in the fun of this swap.

amathyst7, I think it can be arranged to notify all of each swap. I'll look into it and let you know.
