Box or Package of 5 books~US only

It costs 5 dollars to send five books as 'media mail' in the States? wow if I lived there I could not stop exchanging books with people. That's amazingly affordable. Have fun with the swap gals :)

Canariangal78 - It's not without risks though. I don't remember the last time I lost a package in regular post but I've lost 3 media mail packages this year alone. It costs less, but it's less reliable and takes longer.

I know this swap is swapper's choice, but if whoever has my name is trying to decide between a sci-fi and a fantasy, I would prefer a fantasy (the sci-fi would most likely just get swapped again immediately).

Kay: ditto on the long time. It can take three or more weeks for a media mail package to get from the East Coast to the West Coast.

I have been told my by postal people locally that any and all media mail is subject to inspection. They do open larger boxes to verify the contents. If there is ANYTHING other than literature in the box (bookmarks, pens, notepads, tea, etc.) the box may be returned to sender or forwarded to the reciepient as parcel-postage due.

I guess in this case, you have to use good judgement and decide for yourself if you are willing to take the risk.

Yeah, they can check all media mail, but I haven't had any packages sent back to me when sending by media. So far everything had made it here to me too, knock on wood. Am truly sorry to hear that you've had problems with your packages being lost kaypendragon, that's really a shame.

I just wanted to say that for the: One Children, Preteen, Teen book - if my partner would chose a YA book that would be awesome! :) I don't have any kids but I do love to read some good YA books every now & then. :) Thanks!
