For this swap: -you will have 2 adult partners and your child will have (at least) 2 partners that are children. -you will write a letter to each adult partner. -your letter must be at least 2 pages long, at this will hopefully be someone you can be penpals with for a long time. -your child will write a letter to each child partner (or children partners). if there are multiple children in the family, your child may chose to write one letter for all of them or a letter for each. -depending on your child's age you may write for them but in their own words. -try to get your child to write at least one page or at least include the following in their letter: name, age, brothers/sisters, pets, favorite things to play with, favorite characters, etc. -your child will include 2 of the following items for his/her partner: -a colored picture/or hand drawn picture -a sticker sheet with at least 10 stickers -a craft made by your child (can include ATC,Origami, keychain, bracelet, etc) -a photocopy of the front of their favorite book with a short reason why it's their favorite. -a postcard from where you live -at least 10 cut out pictures from magazines or news papers that your child likes and thinks their partner might like. (can be pictures of toys, animals, funny pictures, pictures of things going on around your area of the country-positive things please) -any other small thing your child would like to include Please send out your letters on time because it is very hard for kids to wait for mail. I know my kids check the mailbox every day for anything for them. |
