Crochet-A-Long Granny Squares #1

Hello! Welcome to my crochet-a-long granny square swap!

For this swap we will be sending two partners one 6” square each. Please use worsted weight yarn! Colors, brands and make (acrylic, cotton etc.) are up to you.

With each swap we will try a different type of granny square! Hopefully we will be able to make a very eclectic blanket from all these square!

I would like everyone’s input to see if we should do these swaps once or twice a month. For this swap, I'm giving you a month to get them out. But if you all feel we could do them quicker, then I will do them every two weeks.

Please do your best work on these, make something you would like to receive.

Requirements: At least a 4.95 rating. I will be checking profiles to determine whether the 1s or 3s are well explained and reserve the right to kick anyone out of the swap whom I find to not meet requirements. At least 3 type 3 swaps that have been rated as well!

USA only due to postage. Feel free to host an international one if you like.

Okay, now on to the fun stuff! The first of these swaps will be a traditional granny square. You can do multi-colors, or just one color. It’s your choice. Checking your partner’s profile is always a plus though!

So recap! 2 partners, you will send one 6” square each in traditional granny square style. Feel free to add extra squares or anything, but is NOT necessary! Please add a note with the swap name and your username!

As long as you receive a 6” granny square in traditional style from your partner then they get a 5.
