Description:

This swap was done a few months ago and I had so much fun I wanted another round, so with the permission of leahsimone, the original host, I am repeating the swap. I hope you join us!

This swap is simple--one pound of coffee, either whole bean or ground (specify in the comment section which you prefer) and one skein of yarn (please specify in the comment section your preferred colors, and any allergies you might have such as wool).

By coffee, I mean something special (ie, not Maxwell House--not that I have anything against it, but we want this to be a bit less everyday) and by local, you can interpret that to mean either a local blend, or more likely something from a local shop. By yarn, I mean something fun and special (ie, not chain-store acrylic), and by local it could be something locally spun and dyed, and/or something purchased at a local yarn store. This is a nice way to support non-chain mom-and-pop shops, and some of the nicest of those are the coffee and yarn places.

Be sure to include the business cards from the shops!

This swap is limited to U.S. and Canada only, and to swappers with a rating over 4.8 no newbies this time, as this is my first time hosting and I would like a positive experience for everyone!Don't worry if you see anyone who doesn't meet the standards, I will be reading profiles before I arrange partners

ground coffee is good for me. I love yarn but prefer not to have wool.

I'd prefer whole bean, something medium to dark roast (it's actually for my husband). For the yarn, I'd prefer natural fibers, for colors please see my profile. :)

I would prefer ground coffee, allergic to peanuts (OK if processed in same plant) love any flavors Love natural fibers, anything but angora or mohair for yarn. Any color that isn't flouresent :-)

This sounds like fun, I like ground coffee any yarn is good,

I prefer flavored ground coffee. I am a nut for sock yarn. Any color will do! I have no allergies.

I had fun with the first one, so I am back again. Prefer my coffee flavored (nutty) but am cool with beans or ground. Nothing too fuzzy for yarn, color preferences on my profile.

I prefer ground coffee in a medium to dark roast. Flavors are also a treat. I have no allergies. As for yarn I don't particularly care for cotton, any thing fuzzy or bright colors. Geri

Shouldn't there be a price range too? Maybe?

I prefer whole bean coffee light to medium roast (I love flavored ones!). If it is a hardship to find whole bean, I am OK with ground. For yarn, I like natural fibers whether blended or not (as long as natural). I spin my own, so whoever gets me will get natural homespun yarn.

When will partners be assigned? I'm going yarn shopping this weekend and was hoping to know who my partner is.

I like my coffee non-flavored, caffeinated, and ground. And, like others, mohair tickles my nose. Beyond that I'd love to be surprised by whatever strikes your fancy in terms of yarn! I really mean it! You can choose your fave color and type--I love a surprise addition to my stash. Thanks!
