This looks very interesting! I looked up FB (Friendship books) and from what I understand it is a book that travels around to several people, like a round-robin in quilting? But there are several things you said that I need help understanding… 10 FB in an envelope? 5 new as part of the 10? No Homers? Regular FB? High-quality FB? Nice& Neat FB? Friendship sheets? Label bags? Crams? Thank you for taking the time to explain these thing to me. Jennifer

@StitchinGrammie - hope this helps:

10 FBs in an envelope: The friendship books should fit into a basic envelope - No box required.

5 New - Of the 10 books you're sending, up to 5 of them may be ones that you've made to send around. The other 5 should be ones that someone has sent you.

No homers - a "homer" is a booklet that only has room for one more person to sign, and then it's got to be sent 'home' to the person it's made for.

"Regular" - "Nice & Neat" - "High Quality" - these all describe how intricate the cover of the booklet is. Some people get very artistic, others not so much!

The other terms are well defined on this blog:

Hope that helps!

so i would send 10 books, recieve 10 books after signing them? If i have never done this how would i have 5 that were not blank?

Friendship books have changed quite a bit since I traded them as a teenager. What is the usual size of the FBs?

I'm interested in the swap, but I too would only have new FBs to send. Would that be a problem?

I was also wondering if this was going to be a monthly swap. If not, is it ok to send the FBs that I receive to other swap groups?

@StichinGrammie - Yes, you would send 10 and receive 10 to pass along to other swappers. I can send you 5 booklets that you can use to get started. You can sign these 5, make 5 of your own, and send those 10 to your partner.

@MagicKat - I thought about doing this regularly but haven't decided. The FBs I swap are usually the size of an ATC, up to a notecard size. I've seen them up to 5x8, but I don't like signing those - they take forever to get filled up and sent home! The photo I used for the swap is of some FBs I have here - that should give you some ideas!
